Two men jailed for assaulting woman while impersonating police

Two Pequot Lakes men are behind bars for impersonating police officers and sexually assaulting a woman in her own home.

According to a report, authorities were notified Monday about the Sunday incident.

Thirty-nine-year-old Jeremy Haff and 28-year-old Mason Headlee forced their way inside the home after identifying themselves as police officers, making multiple threats and sexually assaulted her.

The two men are charged with first-degree burglary, first-degree criminal sexual conduct and impersonating a police officer.
