Two offender address changes

Two registered sex offenders will move to the 1300 block of Beltrami Ave. NW tomorrow.

According to the fact sheet released by the Bemidji Police Department, 43-year-old Gerald Browneagle has been out of prison since last November, and 34-year-old Michael Smith was initially released from prison last July.

Smith has a history of engaging in sexual contact and conduct with known male and female children, and Browneagle has a history of sexual contact with a known female child, an unknown adult female and an unknown teenaged female.

Browneagle gained compliance through coercion and force.

Both offenders have served their sentences imposed on them by the court and are not wanted by police at this time.
