The Bemidji Police Department invites anyone interested in joining the Police Reserves to apply by May 9.
Police Chief Mike Mastin said the reserve program began in 2015 and is made up of citizens interested in serving their community.
They handle issues such as lost and found property complaints, security checks, parking enforcement, and special event security.
