Sanford Health is implementing visitor restrictions on the Bemidji and Bagley clinics and hospitals beginning tomorrow, Thursday, Dec. 19, at 8 a.m.
Sanford Bemidji Medical Center, Sanford Bagley Medical Center, Sanford Health WoodsEdge (Neilson Place, Trillium, Windsong) and Sanford Baker Park are included.
According to a release, an increase in respiratory illnesses and influenza in the state has prompted the restrictions.
Only two visitors five-years-old and older may visit per patient, and visitors are limited to clergy and immediate family members.
Any visitors who are ill may not visit unless granted permission.
