Vocalmotive Wins Again, Will Perform For Final Time This Weekend At Showchoir Spring Concert

Bemidji’s two showchoirs ended their competitive seasons with championship performances at Totino-Grace last weekend. Vocalmotive and La Voce Ballo both won championships in their respective categories.

Vocalmotive won the Grand Championship at Totino-Grace’s Showchoir Spectacular and also claimed awards for Best Band, Best Choreography and took home the Spirit Award. La Voce Ballo also took first in the single gender category. Vocalmotive has won grand championships in three of their five competitions this year, with third and fourth place finishes in the other two.

La Voce Ballo, meanwhile, won championships in two of their four competitions, with third place finishes in the other two.

Bemidji’s Showchoirs will wrap up their season with their annual end of season concert Friday and Saturday at the Bemidji High School Auditorium. In addition to their final performances, Bemidji’s Middle School showchoirs will also perform and for the second straight year, Acapella sensations “The Sound Exchange” will be the headliner.

Tickets are on sale now at both Lueken’s Village Foods locations, at brownpapertickets.com and will be available at the door. Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for students. Showtime is 7pm both nights and Paul Bunyan Broadcasting’s Kev Jackson will be the emcee.
