Bemidji High School’s competitive show choir team Vocalmotive won the “Swinging on the River” competition in Hastings.
According to director Chris Fettig, the team was named the Grand Champion as well as winning several other competition categories.
Vocalmotive was ranked best for vocals, choreography, and band.
The group will next compete this Saturday at the Totino-Grace Showchoir Spectacular.
The show choir will have their final shows of the year with the a capella group “Six Appeal” on Friday, March 18, and Saturday, March 19.
