WALKER– A Walker man was injured in an alcohol-related crash involving a semi truck Saturday.

The state patrol says 43-year-old Mathias Kreuser rear-ended the semi truck on northbound Highway 371 as the truck was stopped to make a left turn onto Ah Gwah Ching Road around 10 in the morning.

The semi driver, 40-year-old Chad Freeman of Walker, was uninjured. Kreuser was treated for non-life threatening injuries at the Park Rapids hospital, and is believed to have been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.
