Walker teen injured in crash

A Walker teen was injured in a crash Tuesday afternoon near Benedict.

The Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office says a 16-year-old Walker girl was northbound on County Road 38 when she swerved to miss a deer, losing control of the vehicle and crashing into some trees.

Deputies and medical personnel arrived and found the ’07 Buick in the ditch with extensive damage.

The girl was transported to Sanford Bemidji for her injuries.
