Wells to be recognized with Lifter Award from Minnesota Entrepreneurs

Wells Technology founder Andy Wells will be honored this week with the Lifter Award at the 2022 Minnesota Entrepreneur Kickoff.

Wells is being recognized for his work in lifting up others so they can also find success.

Wells also founded the Wells Academy, which provides educational experience and certification in manufacturing to disadvantaged American Indian applicants.

“This nation was built on free enterprise and built by doers,” stated the award information.

“Andy combined both of those to develop Wells Academy and in doing so helped others to recognize and internalize their full potential – lifting their lives and the lives of their families and descendants as a result.”

Wells is a past inductee of the Hall of Fame, a recognition program administered through the IDEA Competition.

The 11th Annual Minnesota Entrepreneur Kickoff will be this Wednesday in St. Paul.

Tentative plans are in the works for a streamed virtual event at the LaunchPad in Bemidji.
