Work session to discuss land sales

The Bemidji City Council will discuss land sales during their work session Monday.

According to a memo from City Manager Nate Mathews, Chris Hamilton of Lakes-N-Woods Realty will be on hand during the meeting to discuss various listings and potential list pricings for the city’s South Shore, Moberg and Rako Street properties.

The council will also discuss the city’s economic development authority and revolving loan fund, which currently has a balance of $942,000.

Mathews says the fund is not well used, and Mathews would like to discuss developing an EDA work plan and strategy, to have the RLF better employed in Bemidji in the future.
