A 19-year-old Cass Lake man was killed by an apparent stabbing last Saturday night.
Cass County Sheriff Tom Burch says his office responded around 9:30 p.m. for a medical situation on Waboose Trail in rural Cass Lake.
A victim suffering a stab wound was transported to Cass Lake IHS but lifesaving efforts were not successful.
A 34-year-old man was taken into custody after receiving some medical attention.
The names of those involved have not yet been released.
The Leech Lake Tribal Police Department, Leech Lake Ambulance, and Minnesota BCA assisted at the scene.
