Family Downtown Geocache Challenge

Bring out the whole family to search downtown for geocache locations. There are several free apps you can use on your phone to hunt for these locations. Bemidji Parks and Rec will also be doing a free demo at Paul Bunyan Park to show you how to use the different apps and to help answer any questions. Share your park & rec photos with the Parks and Rec department for a chance to win a spot in the 2021 Recreation Calendar. Beltrami Electric seeking nominations for Touchstone Energy Community Award

Each year, Beltrami Electric Cooperative celebrates volunteerism and community service with the Touchstone® Energy Community Award, which recognizes businesses, non-profit and community groups that have shown a strong commitment to the community. Halloween Scavenger Hunt

Find the pumpkins located in City of Bemidji parks. Each pumpkin will have a special clue, riddle or activity for you to solve. Once you register you will receive the game card. Fall in Love with Reading Challenge

September 25 - November 5

Help your children fall in love with reading with this fun interactive reading challenge. Reading challenge lists will be mailed out to all participants based on age and reading level. After each book read, mark it off on the list and add a paper book to your tower. Northwoods Caregivers is presenting a series of "Virtual Dementia Tours," which will help caregivers understand better the physical and cognitive challenges associated with dementia by allowing them to "walk in their shoes."
