BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT
SUNDAY, MARCH 19
Suspicious, 8:26 p.m.
Officer spoke with male individual in regards to possible drug activity on the 800 block of 26th St. NW. Officers responded to the area and did not observe any criminal activity.
Civil, 6:39 p.m.
RP reported that his girlfriend is driving his vehicle around on the 1100 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Vehicle was taken from Cass County. Civil.
DWI, 6:36 p.m.
Traffic stop on 21st St. and Park Ave. NW. Multiple arrested.
Disorderly Conduct, 5:21 p.m.
Dispute between two former spouses living at the same residence on Irvine Ave. NW. Each accused each other of using drugs and alcohol. Actions did not constitute violations of law.
Medical, 5:05 p.m.
Officers assisted Bemidji Fire and EMS with a report of a baby struggling to breathe on Minnesota Ave. NW. Baby appeared OK and checked on by EMS.

Reported on the 2400 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.
Theft, 3:11 p.m.
Report of theft from a vehicle on the 3900 block of Irvine Ave. NW.
Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 3:00 p.m.
Motor vehicle tampering on the 3300 block of Cedar Ln. NW.
Security Check, 2:23 p.m.
Extra patrol requested on the 3900 block of Irvine Ave. NW for vehicle tampering.

DWI, 1:36 a.m.
Traffic stop on 3rd St. and America Ave. NW. One arrested.
DWI, 1:22 a.m.
Traffic stop on 4th St. and Irvine Ave. NW. Adult male placed under arrest for DWI.
SATURDAY, MARCH 18
Suspicious, 11:47 p.m.
Report of a vehicle being Saran-wrapped on the 2700 block of Bemidji Ave N. Reporting party requested extra patrols.
DWI, 11:22 p.m.
Traffic stop on Highway 71 and Balsam Rd. NW. Adult female arrested for DWI.
Animal, 7:43 p.m.
Officer conducted a welfare check on a cat in a vehicle on the 300 block of 9th St. NW. The cat was found to be “purrfectly” fine.
Assault, 7:31 p.m.
Report of assault on Laurel Dr. NW.
Assault, 7:15 p.m.
Assault complaint at a local bar on the 100 block of 3rd St. NW.
Animal, 7:03 p.m.
Officers responded to the request to dispatch a deer on the caller’s front porch on the 3000 block of Goldencrest Ct. NW. The deer was only taking a nap.
Assault, 3:34 a.m.
Female arrested for domestic assault on 30th St. NW.
DWI, 2:25 a.m.
Welfare check on the 600 block of 2nd St. SE. One arrested.
Assist, 1:52 a.m.
Officer spoke with a male who was requesting a ride home from Laurel Dr. NW. Subject was provided with the phone number for a local taxi service.
FRIDAY, MARCH 17
Assist, 9:08 p.m.
Request for a ride to Walker from the 200 block of Beltrami Ave. NW. Officer offered suggestions for other options to locate a ride.
DWI, 8:45 p.m.
Traffic stop on 2nd St. and Bemidji Ave. N. One arrested.
Weapons Offenses, 8:02 p.m.
Officers responded to the report of an individual hanging out of the window of a vehicle, possibly with a firearm, on Park Ave. and 19th St. NW.
Suspicious, 7:49 p.m.
Officer checked on a vehicle stuck on a bike path on the 100 block of Minnesota Ave. SW.
Accident, 6:01 p.m.
Two-vehicle crash with minor injuries on Bemidji Ave. and 4th St. NW.
Sex Crimes, 4:51 p.m.
Juvenile placed under arrest for criminal sexual conduct.
Family Matter-Non Criminal, 4:16 p.m.
Non-criminal family matter on Gould Ave. NE. Adult son left residence and did not want mother calling him in as a missing person.
Disorderly Conduct, 3:17 p.m.
Report of female yelling obscenities at a store on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Female arrested on out-of-county warrant.

SUNDAY, MARCH 19
Weapons Offenses, 5:44 p.m.
Two gunshots heard on the 300 block of Spirit Rd. NE in Wilton.
Accident, 1:53 p.m.
Deputies responded to a two-vehicle collision on Monroe Ave. and Oak Hills Rd. SW with multiple injuries.
Property Damage, 10:50 a.m.
Deputy took a report of property damage on the 19900 block of Hines Rd. NE. One arrested.
Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 6:50 a.m.
Deputy provided traffic control for a log truck spill on Wilton Hill Rd. and Trengove Rd. NW in Wilton. Logs were removed from the roadway without issue.

Deputies assisted state patrol. Juvenile arrested.

Traffic stop for taillight on Irvine Ave. and Grange Rd. NW. Male arrested on a warrant.

911 misdial while fishing in Cass Lake.

Deputy located a stolen vehicle on the 6400 block of Nature Rd. NW.
Pursuit, 1:10 a.m.
Male apprehended following a motor vehicle pursuit on Mission Rd. and Power Dam Rd. NE. Male had warrant and was under the influence.
