The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to from Friday, Dec. 13, to Sunday, Dec. 15.
BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT
SUNDAY, DEC. 15
Accident, 11:49 p.m.
Officers conducted a security check on the 600 block of 2nd Street SE, observed an impaired driver and arrested one for DWI.
Suspicious, 10:41 p.m.
Complaint of someone possibly outside a residence on the 900 block of 21st Street NW. No tracks or subjects were located.
Suspicious, 9:35 a.m.
Suspicious footprints in the snow under the fence and around the yard on the 600 block of Railroad Street SE. Nothing appeared to be missing or damaged.
Welfare Check, 3:33 a.m.
Welfare check on male reported to be at the Bemidji Public Library. Male was arrested on a warrant.
Suspicious, 12:44 a.m.
Officers responded to a report of furniture moving in a house on the 300 block of 8th Street NW. The house was searched and no intruders were found.
SATURDAY, DEC. 14
Assault, 10:37 p.m.
Responded to Park Place for an assault, both parties were separated, no one wanted to press charges.
Assault, 5:06 p.m.
Officers responded to a report of an assault on the 900 block of 26th Street NW, one adult female was arrested for domestic assault.
Suspicious, 2:35 a.m.
Officers made contact with individual selling heroin on the 1300 block of Minnesota Avenue NW. Multiple people were arrested.
DWI, 1:58 a.m.
Traffic stop on a vehicle in Cameron Park after closing hours. Driver was arrested for DWI and the passenger was given a courtesy ride home.
DWI, 1:51 a.m.
Traffic stop on the 300 block of Bemidji Avenue N. Adult female arrested for DWI.
Ordinance Violation, 1:14 a.m.
Officers observed a male urinating in public on the 100 block of 3rd Street NW. Officers issued the male a citation.
Traffic Stop, 12:52 a.m.
Traffic stop on the 100 block of Paul Bunyan Drive S. An adult female was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
FRIDAY, DEC. 13
Trespass, 9:07 p.m.
An adult female was arrested on the 1100 block of Paul Bunyan Drive NW for an ongoing trespass issue.
Theft, 8:19 p.m.
Officers responded for a male shoplifting on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Drive. Male left prior to arrival, but assaulted staff while fleeing.
Warrant, 3:12 a.m.
One male arrested on the 2800 block of Ridgeway Avenue NW for a warrant.
Traffic Stop, 12:11 a.m.
Traffic stop on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Drive NW. Driver arrested for warrants and false name.

SUNDAY, DEC. 15
Harassment, 9:07 p.m.
Adult male sending inappropriate messages to a minor female.
911, 6:49 p.m.
Welfare check on 13-year-old male who dialed 911. Male upset over being disciplined by parents.
Accident, 12:27 p.m.
Two-vehicle property damage crash on Birchmont Beach Road and New Bass Road NE.
Animal, 11:14 a.m.
Deer with arrow in its side on the 6700 block of Lavinia Road NE.
Fire, 10:39 a.m.
Camper fire on the 7600 block of Little Bass Lake Road NE.
Suspicious, 5:18 a.m.
Unfounded suspicious person report on the 5600 block of Alps Court NW.
Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 4:49 a.m.
Vehicle in the ditch on the 2200 block of Paul Bunyan Drive NW. Female driver arrested for DWI.
SATURDAY, DEC. 14
Violations/Court Orders, 11:30 p.m.
Male arrested by Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office at Pine Manor for an A&D hold.
Suspicious, 9:38 p.m.
High school students pranked a teacher’s residence. Students were located and instructed to apologize and collect the garbage left at the residence. No charges pending.
Theft, 5:18 p.m.
Theft from outbuilding reported on the 2500 block of Centerline Road SW in Solway.
Burglary, 8:35 a.m.
Cabin burglary reported at Sunset Cove in Cass Lake.
Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 2:11 a.m.
Report of a vehicle in the ditch on Highway 89 and Radar Road NW. Driver arrested for DWI.
Assault, 1:17 a.m.
Report of a domestic in a vehicle by Lakes Liquor. One male arrested for a warrant.
Traffic Stop, 12:53 a.m.
An adult male was arrested for 4th degree DWI on Main Street and One Mile Road NE in Blackduck.
FRIDAY, DEC. 13
Theft, 6:50 p.m.
Theft of a kitchen mixer from a vehicle on the 1800 block of Ventura Drive SE.
Assist, 2:49 a.m.
Assisted the Minnesota State Patrol on a traffic stop on the 100 block of Convenience Lane SW. A female was arrested for drug possession, false names and warrants. A male was arrested for DWI.
Assault, 2:14 a.m.
An adult male was arrested for domestic assault.
