The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to from Friday, Dec. 27, to Sunday, Dec. 29.
BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT
sunday, dec. 29
Weapons Offenses, 9:53 p.m.
Officers responded to a report of a subject brandishing a pistol on the 2800 block of Ridgeway Avenue NW. Unable to locate. One adult male was arrested.
Theft, 6:28 a.m.
Security camera system reported stolen from the 2800 block of Ridgeway Avenue NW.
SATURDAY, DEC. 28
Warrant, 9:27 p.m.
Male arrested on a warrant and cited for obstruction on the 1500 block of America Avenue NW.
Robbery, 5:32 p.m.
Report of a robbery at knife point on the 1200 block of Minnesota Avenue NW. Suspect fled. Officers were unable to locate the suspect.
Disorderly Conduct, 2:45 p.m.
Adult male cited for urinating on a vending machine at the Sanford ER.
Burglary, 2:07 p.m.
Officers responded to a report of a burglary in progress on the 600 block of 4th Street NW. One adult female was arrested for the incident.
911, 3:25 a.m.
Officers responded to a 911 hang up on the 2800 block of Ridgeway Avenue NW. Male arrested on a warrant and a female was arrested for a probation violation.
Fire, 1:29 a.m.
Agency assist with a possible fire on the 3400 block of Laurel Drive NW.
DWI, 12:06 a.m.
Officers conducted a traffic stop on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Drive NW. Driver fled on foot, was arrested for DWI and fleeing a police officer.
FRIDAY, DEC. 27
Theft, 6:14 p.m.
Officers took a report of a stolen package on the 1200 block of 30th Street NW.
Accident, 9:46 a.m.
Vehicle versus pedestrian accident on 5th Street NW. A juvenile was cited.
Theft, 7:20 a.m.
Report of a vehicle theft, determined to be a vehicle towed for snow removal on the 100 block of Minnesota Avenue NW. Unfounded.
BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
SUNDAY, DEC. 29
Assist, 10:00 p.m.
Deputies assisted Clearwater County in looking for a snowmobile on the 4900 block of Balsam Road NW.
DWI, 3:00 a.m.
Adult male arrested for 2nd Degree DWI Refusal on the 7100 block of Pinto Lane NW.
Suspicious, 1:55 a.m.
Adult female arrested on a warrant on the 1200 block of Little Norway Avenue SE.
SATURDAY, DEC. 28
Property, 9:00 p.m.
Homeowner came home to find property scattered about his driveway on Mission Road SE in Cass Lake. Was property from the night prior.
Agency Assist, 12:06 a.m.
Deputies assisted the Bemidji Police Department in apprehending a fleeing suspect on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Drive NW.
Friday, Dec. 27
Assault, 8:02 p.m.
Deputies responded to a disturbance in Ten Lakes Township. Two adults were arrested for controlled substance DWI and other charges.
Theft, 2:32 p.m.
Theft of items from a storage unit reported on the 8800 block of Irvine Avenue NW.
Assault, 1:54 p.m.
A female was arrested for a probation violation on the 20800 block of Birchmont Beach Road NE.
