The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to from Friday, Jan. 10 to Sunday, Jan. 12.
BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT
SUNDAY, JAN. 12
Theft, 9:14 p.m.
An adult female was arrested for theft, soliciting a juvenile to commit theft and contributing to the delinquency of a minor on the 2100 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.
Theft, 5:58 p.m.
Several were arrested during a shoplifting complaint on the 2600 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.
Theft, 4:21 p.m.
Individual was placed under arrest for multiple charges on the 2600 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.
Theft, 10:19 a.m.
Theft from vehicle reported on the 1200 block of 3rd St. SE.
Suspicious, 3:37 a.m.
Report of a male with a gun on the 2600 block of Delton Ave. NW. Officers made contact, male did not have a gun and left the area walking.
Accident, 1:15 a.m.
Two were arrested after an accident on Adams Ave. and Hwy 2 NW.
Warrant, 12:50 a.m.
Male located walking on the 2800 block of Pine Ridge Ave. NW was arrested on a warrant.
SATURDAY, JAN. 11
Accident, 11:49 p.m.
Hit and run reported on 2nd St. SE and Grant Ave. Suspect identified, however, unable to be located.
DWI, 11:13 p.m.
Officers assisted BCSO with a disorderly male on the 6400 block of Bemidji Ave. N. Adult female placed under arrest for DWI.
Suspicious, 9:04 p.m.
Officer checked on a male screaming on the road of 9th St. and Minnesota Ave. NW. He was found to be fine. No action taken.
Suspicious, 8:15 p.m.
Felony stop on a stolen vehicle on the 2100 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Passenger arrested for probation violation, driver arrested for suspicion of DWI and receiving stolen property.
Disorderly Conduct, 11:57 a.m.
Officers placed an individual under arrest for a felony warrant without incident, after responding to a residence. No other charges.
Theft, 8:04 a.m.
Shoplifter reported on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. One arrested on a warrant.
DWI, 1:12 a.m.
Traffic stop on the 100 block of 3rd St. NW. Driver arrested for multiple violations.
FRIDAY, JAN. 10
Suspicious, 7:41 p.m.
Complaint of a suspicious whistling noise heard multiple times from an unknown direction. Officers checked the area of the 200 block of Irvine Ave. SW and nothing was located.
Theft, 4:51 p.m.
Officers took a report of theft form the 900 block of Lake Blvd. NE.
Civil, 11:13 a.m.
Caller complaining about a female that had been staying at her residence using drugs. Female was no longer staying there at the 2500 block of Phoenix Loop NW and the officer advised that after the fact information is not useful.
DWI, 1:12 a.m.
Traffic stop on the 100 block of 3rd St. NW. Driver arrested for DWI.
BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
SUNDAY, JAN. 12
Traffic Stop, 8:58 p.m.
Traffic stop on Hwy 2 and Jefferson Ave. SW that resulted in the driver being arrested for DWI.
Disorderly Conduct, 6:34 p.m.
Domestic disturbance, male party arrested.
Hazards (dangerous), 11:46 a.m.
Carbon Monoxide alarm on the 9800 block of Sundown Rd. NW. Solway Fire saved the day, no injuries.
DWI, 4:57 a.m.
Deputy checked on an idling vehicle at a closed business on Old Long Lake Rd. NW. Driver arrested for DWI.
DWI, 1:56 a.m.
Male arrested for 3rd degree DWI refusal on the 800 block of Minnesota Ave. NW.
SATURDAY, JAN. 11
Disorderly Conduct, 11:13 p.m.
Deputies responded to a report of disorderly conduct on the 6400 block of Bemidji Ave. N. Two parties arrested.
Hazards (dangerous), 10:48 p.m.
Carbon monoxide detector activated and one child was sick. Building cleared and Bemidji Fire Department assisted with the CO issue.
Warrant, 8:15 p.m.
Male arrested for a warrant on Fjordes Ct. and Little Norway Ave. SE.
Warrant, 7:08 p.m.
Adult male arrested on a warrant on the 10200 block of Faith Dr. NW.
Traffic Stop, 7:08 p.m.
Traffic stop resulting in the driver being arrested for driving after cancellation-inimical to public safety on the 7100 block of Pete Ln. NW.
Assault, 3:05 a.m.
Assault report. Male arrested for domestic assault and 3rd degree assault.
FRIDAY, JAN. 10
Traffic Stop, 11:57 p.m.
Traffic stop on the 9500 block of Trengove Rd. NW. Driver arrested for DWI.
911, 7:57 p.m.
4-year-old practicing calling 911, without mom!!
Traffic Stop, 2:44 p.m.
Traffic stop on the 4300 block of Luomas Ln. SE. All occupants arrested for fleeing, driver arrested for DWI.
DWI, 1:07 a.m.
Checked on vehicle on Roosevelt Rd. and Shannon Ln. SE. Male party arrested.
