WALKER– The Cass County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a drowning on Kabekona Bay of Leech Lake.
According to a release, an unnamed woman was pronounced dead after being discovered at the Woodland Resort in Shingobee Township yesterday afternoon around 3.
CPR and lifesaving efforts were unsuccessful.
The woman’s name is being withheld until notification of family members.
An autopsy is scheduled with the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office.
