A Bemidji man is accused of electronically communicating sexual material with children and indecent exposure to minors.
Twenty-nine-year-old Caleb Werner was charged last week and remains jailed on an unconditional $20,000 bail.
According to the complaint, Werner was allegedly communicating with a 7-year-old girl via her cell phone.
The victim reportedly told investigators that he engaged in sexual conduct with her, though he has not been charged with criminal sexual conduct.
Werner appeared in court today for a Rule 8 appearance, and will make his next appearance Feb. 21.
