Governor Tim Walz says the U.S. Department of Agriculture has announced primary agricultural disaster designations for Beltrami and Clearwater counties, and five others.
According to a release, multiple disasters in August and November in 2019 that included a tornado, high winds, excessive rain and flooding prompted this designation.
Producers in these counties will be able to apply for assistance from the USDA Farm Service Agency, including FSA emergency loans.
