In honor of Dr. Seuss and “Read Across America Day”, the Friends of the Carnegie invite all children 3-5 years old to a special Dr. Seuss Storytime on Monday, March 16, from 10:29 to 11:30 a.m.
Volunteers will be reading lots of everyone’s favorite Dr. Seuss stories. There will be crafts and treats, and each child will receive a Dr. Seuss memento book. No registration is required.
Storytime at the Carnegie, a free program for pre-school children, runs every Monday from 10:29 to 11:15 a.m. at the Carnegie Library at 426 Bemidji Ave. Storytime was created thanks to a generous donation from the Herbert and Vivian Olson Children’s Reading Program, in support of early childhood education and children’s literacy. It is sponsored by the Friends of the Carnegie and the City of Bemidji Parks & Recreation Department.
