White Earth Police arrest several in recent drug investigations

The White Earth Police Department and Mahnomen County Sheriff’s Office says they’ve seized 10 ounces of methamphetamine and a handgun as result of a narcotics investigation.

According to a release, the investigation and searches were done March 5 and 6, and a South Dakota man, 36-year-old Carlos Casarez, was charged with first degree possession of a controlled substance and ineligible possession of a firearm.

Last Friday, the White Earth Police Department executed a search warrant in Mahnomen and seized another 64 grams of methamphetamine and two firearms. Three adult males were arrested as a result of that separate investigation.
