U.S. Housing and Urban Development recently awarded an additional $10,000 in funding for the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of Bemidji as part of the Foster Youth to Independence Initiative.
HUD awarded around $30,000 last month to the Bemidji HRA for the same program that assists young adults transitioning out of foster care and who are at risk of homelessness.
