RED LAKE– Seven were arrested after a bust in Red Lake where over 200 grams of methamphetamine were seized.
According to a release from the Red Lake Police Department, a search warrant was executed on June 27, and in addition to the drugs, cash, scales, packaging materials and an SUV related to drug operations were seized.
The 200 grams of meth, or just over seven ounces, has an approximate street value of $17,000 to $20,000.
Some of the arrested people were previously served with tribal removal orders, according to the release, and will face additional charges in the Tribal Court for those offenses.
Federal drug charges, in addition to tribal charges, are also possible.
