Nearby Polk County has seen an increase of 13 cases of COVID-19 in a single day, bringing their total to 16.
According to a release from the Polk County Public Health department, the Minnesota Department of Health confirmed the cases yesterday.
The additional cases are not yet available on the MDH website, as the state website often is at least one day behind on reporting.
For Polk’s new cases, there are four people in their 20s, five people in their 30s, one person in their 40s, one in their 50s, one in their 60s, and one in their 70s.
