BEMIDJI– A Red Lake woman entered a not guilty plea on first degree drug possession charges and driving while intoxicated.

According to court documents, 58-year-old Shannon Lasley-Rudolph of Red Lake entered the not guilty plea yesterday before Judge Paul Benshoof in Beltrami County.

The complaint accuses Lasley-Rudolph of possessing roughly three pounds of methamphetamine.

She was pulled over last February in Bemidji when a trooper noticed erratic driving behavior, and her vehicle was searched when the trooper arrested Lasley-Rudolph after she failed a field sobriety test.

Her next court appearance is scheduled for Aug. 20.
