The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Wednesday, May 13.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

DWI, 6:37 p.m.

Report of suspicious activity– male continuously getting in and out of a vehicle on the 1000 block of Washington Ave. S. Driver arrested for DWI.

Disorderly Conduct, 4:09 p.m.

Spoke with landlord about renter issues and advised them on the eviction process.

Traffic Stop, 10:07 a.m.

Subject drove by officer at a high rate of speed on Anne St. and Highway 71 NW. 82 MPH in a 55 zone. Warning issued.

Assault, 3:45 a.m.

Officers responded to the second hand report of an assault on the 400 block of Central Ave. SE. Later determined to be unfounded. Adult male placed under arrest for an outstanding warrant.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Animal, 7:48 p.m.

Report of a bull in the roadway on the 26600 block of Pleasant Valley Rd. NW in Puposky. Owners were contacted and the bull was removed.

Traffic Stop, 6:43 p.m.

Traffic stop on Highway 2 and Spirit Ave. in Wilton. Driver arrested for DWI and drug possession.

Warrant, 2:13 p.m.

Deputy picked up a subject from Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office for a local warrant.

Family matter-non criminal, 12:40 p.m.

Deputy spoke with involved parties regarding a 14-year-old boy being destructive and not listening to mother. Parties advised.

Theft, 7:44 a.m.

Report of a stolen vehicle that had been recovered by Law Enforcement in Northome.
