UPDATED: Blackduck man killed in crash near Motley

A Blackduck man was killed in a crash north of Motley Friday afternoon.

According to a release from the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, first responders arrived around 12:10 p.m. at Highway 64 mile marker 2 and found 68-year-old Edward Coyle deceased inside the vehicle.

According to the release, the southbound Buick SUV entered the ditch, rolled and flipped.

The crash remains under investigation.

The Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office is conducting the autopsy. Motley Fire and Rescue, Staples Ambulance and North Memorial Air Care assisted at the scene.
