The Mahnomen County Sheriff’s Office said they responded to a report from a Mahnomen apartment Monday afternoon, and that a three-year-old girl was airlifted to a Fargo hopsital where she is in critical condition.
The girl appears to have been injured in a child abuse incident.
No names or other information have yet been released.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the White Earth Police Department is assisting the investigation.
