A 62-year-old Grand Rapids woman is facing nine felony counts of theft in Itasca County.
According to the complaint, Lynda Gillson, a former bookkeeper at Glen’s Army Navy Surplus, appeared to have stolen over $200,000 over the course of her employment.
The discrepancies were reportedly not discovered until the store hired a new bookkeeper.
The maximum penalty for the first four counts in the complaint is 20 years in prison and/or a $100,000 fine. Gillson’s next court appearance is August 17.
