BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT
SUNDAY, JUNE 21
Theft, 9:41 p.m.
Officer took a report of a theft of a motor vehicle on the 1200 block of Beltrami Ave. NW.
Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 7:15 p.m.
Report of an occupant drinking in a vehicle on the 600 block of Washington Ave. S. Officer located a soft drink can but no beer. Unfounded.
Suspicious, 6:05 p.m.
Officers were called for an adult male being loud on the 900 block of 30th St. NW. Male returned to his residence without incident.
Accident, 1:15 p.m.
An officer responded to a hit and run crash incident on Irvine Ave. and 29th St. NW.
Suspicious, 4:59 a.m.
Request to check on a male carrying a shovel on 5th St. NW. Subject was provided a courtesy ride. No other action required.
Burglary, 1:23 a.m.
Officers took a report of a burglary and criminal damage to property on the 2800 block of Pine Ridge Ave. NW.
SATURDAY, JUNE 20
Medical, 8:50 p.m.
Officers responded to an overdose.
Theft, 8:44 p.m.
Theft of a bicycle on the 100 block of Walborg Ave. NE. No suspects at this time.
Welfare Check, 7:37 p.m.
Officer responded to a welfare check on a female on the 500 block of Anne St. NW. Upon arrival, the intoxicated female was arrested for a local warrant.
Other, 7:41 p.m.
Reported theft of a vehicle. Found nearby. Caller misplaced where it was parked on the 200 block of 3rd St. NW.
Missing Person, 1:36 p.m.
Child walked away from grandma while she was getting her hair cut. Child reunited with grandfather.
Theft, 11:36 a.m.
Report of stolen bikes on the 600 block of Patriot Dr. NW.
Theft, 9:28 a.m.
Theft from vehicle reported on the 2800 block of Pine Ridge Ave. NW.
Hazards (dangerous), 8:46 a.m.
Officers responded to a report of a loud boom on the 2500 block of Minnesota Ave. NW. Source was not located.
Assault, 1:46 a.m.
Officers responded to a fight at a local bar on the 100 block of 3rd St. NW.
Assault, 1:06 a.m.
Officers responded to a report of a domestic assault. One adult male arrested.
Disorderly Conduct, 12:51 a.m.
Officer responded to a disorderly conduct on the 900 block of 30th St. NW. Upon arrival, an unknown male threw beans at an AC unit. No further assistance was requested.
FRIDAY, JUNE 19
Violations/Court Orders, 11:33 p.m.
Officer responded to a report of an HRO violation. One adult male was arrested.
Other, 3:23 p.m.
Caller with concerns about exposure to covid at a local restaurant. Caller referred to MN department of health.
Assist, 1:28 p.m.
Investigators executed a search warrant on the 100 block of Lake Shore Dr. NE in reference to another agency’s fraud investigation.
Drugs, 9:51 a.m.
Caller reported lots of traffic coming and going from a residence on the 2800 block of Beltrami Ave. NW.
Traffic Stop, 12:02 a.m.
An officer conducted a traffic stop on a suspicious vehicle leaving the area of a crime scene. The vehicle on 8th St. and Irvine Ave. NW was determined not to be involved.
THURSDAY, JUNE 18
Property Damage, 11:39 p.m.
Officers took a report of property damage to a vehicle and residence on the 500 block of 9th St. NW.
DWI, 8:56 p.m.
Traffic stop on the 2800 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW. Adult male arrested for DWI.
Accident, 3:00 p.m.
Bicyclists struck by vehicle on 15th St. and Irvine Ave. NW. Minor injuries.
Family Crimes, 10:50 a.m.
Family member has questions about custody because mother is high on meth.
Public Relations, 9:24 a.m.
Spoke with citizen about policing concerns.
Sex Crimes, 7:52 a.m.
One arrested for sexual assault on the 800 block of America Ave. NW.
BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
SUNDAY, JUNE 21
Violations/Court Orders, 10:07 p.m.
Male arrested for violation of a DANCO in Cass Lake.
Property Damage, 6:37 p.m.
Vehicle entered the ditch and damaged a mailbox and planter on the 1300 block of Wolf Lake Dr. SE. No one witnessed the damage. Photos were taken, no suspects.
Disturbing the Peace, 3:28 p.m.
Neighbor shooting Tannerite on the 1900 block of Frohn Rd. NE. Range inspected and very suitable.
DWI, 2:25 a.m.
Male cited for 4th degree DWI on the 5700 block of Highway 89 NW.
Disorderly Conduct, 12:06 a.m.
Deputies responded to the area of Eckles Township for an assault. One female was arrested for first degree burglary and domestic assault.
SATURDAY, JUNE 20
Assault, 8:30 p.m.
Deputies responded to Alpine Village after an assault was reported. One male was arrested for domestic assault.
Assault, 8:15 a.m.
A male was arrested for domestic assault and property damage on the 2500 block of N. Plantagenet Rd. SW.
911, 7:28 a.m.
Son allegedly hiding caller’s glasses and address book in Blackduck. Unfounded.
Warrant, 4:45 a.m.
Male arrested on a warrant on the 2600 block of Delton Ave. NW.
DWI, 2:21 a.m.
Traffic stop on Osprey Ln. SE in Cass Lake. Three males arrested for multiple violations.
FRIDAY, JUNE 19
Assault, 4:55 p.m.
Initial report of a civil incident regarding a vehilce. During a return call, one adult female was arrested for domestic assault and possession of marijuana.
THURSDAY, JUNE 18
Assist, 11:09 p.m.
Assist Hubbard County with a sinking boat.
Suspicious, 9:15 p.m.
Suspicious people walking on a country road in Blackduck. They were provided a ride to the Lake of the Woods Co. line where they were to meet family.
Theft, 2:47 p.m.
Small trailer stolen from home last fall on the 2300 block of Madison Ave. SW.
Suspicious, 11:02 a.m.
Report of several flat tires in mid to late April. Possible nails on Island View Dr. between Irvine Ave. and Highway 71. Information only.
Violations/Court Orders, 8:56 a.m.
Subject arrested for DANCO violation in Bemidji.
Assault, 1:15 a.m.
Fight at the bar on the 200 block of Spirit Ave. NW in Wilton. Three arrested.
