The Bemidji Community Food Shelf reports they have served over 3,500 people in the last two months.
According to a release, many of these people have been economically impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
More volunteers are being sought, and their duties would include stocking shelves, packing and distributing boxes in a safe, socially distant environment. Youth ages 14 and up are welcome, and interested people can commit to a shift throughout the summer into the Fall.
