The Bemidji Area Chamber of Commerce says they are scheduled to receive 24,000 disposable masks next week and plans to distribute them to their members.
The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development and the Department of Administration have selected one chamber per county to be a distribution point for a shipment of disposable masks.
The mask distribution is to supply customer-facing businesses so that no business will need to turn a customer away because they don’t have a mask.
The chamber will announce when the masks are received.
