Bail stands for man accused of aiding homicide suspect

BEMIDJI– Bail will continue to stand at $500,000 for a man accused of aiding a homicide.

According to court records, 54-year-old Daniel Linde of Cass Lake appeared in court Monday for a bail hearing, but any motion to lower it was denied.

Linde was charged with two counts of aiding an offender after the fact, in which he is suspected to have helped 45-year-old Darren Stebe of Bemidji with building a burn pit and disposing the bodies of 41-year-old Jason McDonough of Superior and 39-year-old Adam Thorpe of Maple Grove.

Linde’s next court appearance is scheduled for September 13.
