The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Wednesday, Aug. 26.
BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Welfare Check, 10:57 p.m.
An officer conducted a welfare check on a male throwing his hat and yelling on the 600 block of America Ave. NW. The officer spoke with the male and found he was fine.
Assault, 9:23 p.m.
Officers arrested a male for assault on the 100 block of 3rd St. NW.
Disorderly Conduct, 1:36 p.m.
Spoke with two individuals about city ordinance. They were practicing with a bow and arrow on Lincoln School property.
Medical, 1:33 a.m.
Officers responded to a medical on the 2400 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. One adult male arrested on two warrants.
BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Medical, 10:22 p.m.
Medical involving an overdose on Highway 89 and Radar Rd. NW. Two arrested.
Theft, 1:26 p.m.
Deputy spoke with complainant regarding the theft of a political sign from the end of his driveway on the 1500 block of Becida Rd. SW. Did not want to pursue it further, just wanted it documented.
Robbery, 11:33 a.m.
Adult male robbed adult female at residence at knife point. Suspects left in unknown direction of travel. A Ruger Security-9 pistol, sporting goods equipment and a large sum of cash stolen from residence on the 1800 block of Island View Dr. NE. Extra patrol requested in the area.
Burglary, 11:09 a.m.
One arrested for domestic assault in Puposky.
Warrant, 10:35 a.m.
One arrested on the 2200 block of Osprey Ln. SE in Cass Lake.
