Get in on another one of Watermark’s Virtual Art Classes when you sign up for our pre-recorded Monarch Acrylic Painting class for kids ages 6 – 12. For $15, you’ll get supplies and a link to a pre-recorded video with our Education Director Jill Oakes.
Online registration is open now and participants can pick up their class supply kits from Watermark between September 16th and 19th. A link will be emailed to registrants which will become active on 9/19. Kids will first learn how to draw a Monarch butterfly in its natural habitat. You will also learn about painting with acrylics and mixing colors, then you’ll transfer those skills to a canvas to create an amazing acrylic butterfly painting. This class will be hosted by art instructor Jill Oakes. “Kids Monarch Acrylic Painting” is made possible in part by the Mississippi Headwaters Audubon Society.
