A risk level three sex offender changed addresses on Monday, Oct. 12.
According to a release from the Bemidji Police Department, Jeffrey Thomas Ballek, 54, moved to the 600 block of 4th St. NW.
The fact sheet says that 20 years ago, Ballek was arrested for engaging in sexual contact against two known, female children. Six years ago, Ballek was found by law enforcement to be in possession of child pornography.
Ballek has served the sentence imposed on him by the court and is not wanted by police at this time.
The Bemidji Police Department is releasing this information pursuant to statute, to inform communities of a pubic registrant’s address.
