The virtual ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Hagg Sauer Hall is this afternoon.
According to a release, members of Minnesota State Colleges and Universities, the Minnesota legislature and the Bemidji community will gather virtually to celebrate the new academic learning space.
The original Hagg Sauer was built in 1970, with a basement below the water table of Lake Bemidji, and was torn down in April 2019 after Minnesota State secured the necessary bonding dollars.
The new building is 27,000 square feet, and is the first new building on campus since the American Indian Resource Center was built in 2001.
