The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Wednesday, Dec. 16.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

DWI, 9:37 p.m.

Traffic stop on the 1200 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Driver arrested for DWI and passenger arrested on warrants.

Theft, 9:51 a.m.

Theft complaint on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW, officer ultimately placed two females under arrest for warrants.

DWI, 1:33 a.m.

Traffic stop on the 1100 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. S, multiple individuals arrested.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Agency Assist, 3:06 p.m.

Deputies assisted Bemidji Police Department with motor vehicle pursuit on the 2100 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Adult female driver and male passenger transported to Sanford ER for evaluation after apparent narcotic overdoses. Several BCSO squads rammed by female driver.

Property Damage, 2:39 p.m.

Report of an apple being thrown into window by child, causing damage to window on the 5600 block of Alps Ct. NW. Parents are working out issues amongst themselves and landlord.

Welfare Check, 9:20 a.m.

Welfare check requested on 5-year-old who has not shown up for Zoom-class in several weeks. Welfare check conducted and all was well. Parent advised they were having difficulty locating the resources necessary to perform distanced learning.
