The Bemidji City Council will begin the first meeting of 2021 with a swearing in ceremony for incoming Mayor Jorge Prince and Ward 1 council member Audrey Thayer, as well as incumbent members Ron Johnson and Nancy Erickson.
Only one item of new business is on the agenda: an unattended vehicle signage initiative discussion.
It is unlawful to leave a running vehicle unattended with keys in the ignition within city limits.
