The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Wednesday, Jan. 20.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Theft, 11:07 p.m.

Officers recovered a stolen trailer on the 1000 block of Washington Ave. S. Owner took possession.

Drugs, 11:08 p.m.

Report of an odor of marijuana on the 1900 block of Delton Ave. NW. Source of odor located and responsible party advised to stop smoking.

Suspicious, 10:06 p.m.

Officer spoke with an individual on 9th St. and Minnesota Ave. NW for riding bicycle with no visible light. Individual had outstanding warrant and was arrested.

Fire, 5:01 p.m.

Reported on the 900 block of 21st St. NW.

Hazards (dangerous), 2:55 p.m.

Officers responded to a report of a road hazard on the 600 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. S. A fallen light post was removed from the road way and the city was contacted.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Traffic Stop, 11:26 p.m.

Male arrested for out of county warrant on Cardinal Rd. and Balsam Rd. NW.

Medical, 10:39 p.m.

Medical–overdose reported in Bemidji.

Suspicious, 8:33 p.m.

Homeowner reported an unknown vehicle stuck in their driveway on the 4400 block of Jackpine Rd. NW. Operator arrested for suspicion of drug DWI.

Assault, 8:28 p.m.

One arrested on domestic assault call in Pennington.

Property Damage, 7:36 p.m.

Deputies responded to assist Leech Lake Tribal Officers on property damage case. One arrested on the 4900 block of Kappes Ln. SE in Cass Lake.

Burglary, 3:45 p.m.

Deputy advised of a burglary to an outbuilding on the 2800 block of Buchanan Ave. SW.

Welfare Check, 3:06 p.m.

Welfare check requested on possibly impaired adult female on the 9900 block of Irvine Ave. NW. Two parties with warrants arrested.

Assault, 9:45 p.m.

Request for a welfare check in Bemidji resulted in the arrest of an elderly male for domestic assault.
