Sanford Health treats frontline workers to Nashville trip

Last month, a group of local Sanford Ambassadors were selected to go on a surprise trip to Nashville, Tenn.

The group of employees was selected because of their “extraordinary commitment to their work and the people they serve.”

One of the ambassadors was the nurse manager of the COVID unit and another was a provider at an outpatient infusion clinic for COVID-19 patients.

Two of the local ambassadors, Heather and Lisa, spoke with us on the work they’ve done over the past year and the highlights of the trip.

The trip included a performance by Lady A at the Grand Ole Opry, with a specially-written song “This, Too, Shall Pass,” for the Sanford Health professionals.

Sanford Health submitted this video highlighting the “thank you” trip.
