A Red Lake man was arrested and federally charged for an aggravated sexual assault.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office accuses 37-year-old Descart Begay, Jr., of raping someone last July.
‘Officers arrested Begay Wednesday and he first appeared in court yesterday.
The Red Lake Tribal Police Department and the FBI Headwaters Safe Trails Task Force conducted the investigation.
