Law enforcement seeking public help after suspected arson in Audubon

Law enforcement in Becker County is asking for the public to help after suspected arson in Audubon last week.

Firefighters responded to the 300 block of Eagle Street on June 1st at 11 p.m. after the occupant of the home witnessed the fire being intentionally set.

The fire was contained within five minutes of arrival, with firefighters battling the blaze for another hour and a half.

All two-legged occupants of the home escaped without injury, but a dog was killed.

Anyone with information can contact the Becker County Sheriff’s Office at 218-847-2661 or the Arson Tip Line at 1-800-723-2020. Tips can also be submitted online. Tippers may qualify for a reward.
