The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Tuesday, June 8.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Suspicious, 11:23 p.m.

Caller reported suspicious persons on the road on the 1300 block of Beltrami Ave. NW. Requested extra patrol because there has been a lot of foot traffic in the area lately.

Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 8:12 p.m.

Vehicle complaint on Bemidji Ave. and Lakewood Dr. NW. Adult male arrested for multiple charges.

Fire, 12:32 p.m.

Officer responded to a small grass fire near an elementary school on the 1600 block of 5th St. NE. Upon arrival, Bemidji Fire took the scene.

Burglary, 10:53 a.m.

Reported on the 5000 block of Bemidji Ave. N.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Welfare Check, 9:12 p.m.

An initial report of domestic assault in progress on Mission Rd. SE in Cass Lake. The assault was unfounded and did not take place. Male party arrested for a DOC warrant.

Warrant, 12:24 p.m.

Adult arrested on DOC warrant on the 1100 block of Augusta Dr. NE.

Burglary, 1:23 a.m.

An initial report of a burglary in progress on the 1800 block of Bald Eagle Dr. SE in Cass Lake. The complainant later identified the suspect as the neighbor’s dog and advised they did not need assistance.

DWI, 1:14 a.m.

Traffic stop on Wilton Hill Rd. and Capella Dr. NW. Driver arrested for DWI.
