The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Wednesday, July 14.
BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Welfare Check, 10:14 p.m.
Male arrested on his warrant on the 100 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. S.
Assault, 10:12 p.m.
Officers responded to an assault report. Two juveniles cited and arrested.
Accident, 4:15 p.m.
Report of a hit-and-run on the 500 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. S.
Disorderly Conduct, 12:12 a.m.
Caller reported a fireworks complaint on the 1200 block of Bemidji Ave. N. Officer checked the area with the caller and were not able to locate the source.
BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Assault, 11:00 p.m.
Deputies responded to a domestic assault report on Little Norway Ave. SE. Male arrested for assault and other charges.
Assist, 9:23 p.m.
Motorist assist on Cass River and Scenic Highway SE in Pennington. One female arrested for her Hubbard County warrant.
Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 4:10 p.m.
Reckless vehicle on Roosevelt Rd. and Tyler Ave. SE. One arrested for DWI.
Assist, 2:30 p.m.
MN DNR requests party be educated on drone safety and regulations in regards to obstructing fire suppression efforts on the 5700 block of Radar Rd. NW.
Violations/Court Orders, 12:45 p.m.
One arrested for violating an order for protection on Highway 89.
