More details on arrest of Oklee man suspected in the murder of his wife

The Red Lake County Sheriff’s Office provided more details on the arrest of Eric Reinbold, the primary suspect in the murder of his wife.

Reinbold, 44, of Oklee, was apprehended 12:30 a.m. Wednesday by the U.S. Marshals.

Reinbold was reportedly arrested without incident at a vacant farmyard in Red Lake County, about four miles northeast of Oklee.

Reinbold had a federal warrant for violating the conditions of his parole, stemming from his conviction for possessing pipe bombs in 2018.

The Pennington County Sheriff’s Office also had a warrant for his arrest as a primary suspect in the murder of his 34-year-old wife, Lissette, on July 9.

Reinbold is currently in the Pennington County Jail in Thief River Falls. The Red Lake and Pennington County Sheriff’s Offices, the Thief River Falls Police Department and the state Bureau of Criminal Apprehension assisted the U.S. Marshals with his apprehension.
