YouthBuild application deadline Aug. 20

Attention community youth ages 16 to 24!
How would you like to earn while you learn?! BI-CAP YouthBuild is recruiting youth participants for 2021

•  Earn an hourly wage while working toward your Diploma, GED, or Adult Diploma.
• Participate in two on-site construction/work experience days and two classroom days

  per week, for a minimum of six months, in a small group setting.

•  Help build a home for a low-income community member.
• Earn certifications to build a résumé and learn other skills to make yourself more

  employable.

• Explore education options beyond high school and receive assistance in the application

  and/or financial aid process.

• Work on personal goals, budgeting, and other life skills.
• Explore careers and learn to work as a team.
• Receive one-on-one mentoring from caring staff.

  Review eligibility requirements and turn in applications and transcript request form to the address above by the August 20th deadline for a chance to be considered for our weeklong orientation beginning August 30th. All five days must be attended in order to join the team.
