The Bemidji City Council will deliberate four alternatives for the Paul Bunyan Park Plaza Drainage Project.
Last March, the council approved hiring Jensen Conservation to work on Paul and Babe.
That work, in addition to the repair of Paul’s arm, was finished in May.
The four alternatives to fix a drainage issue in the plaza are: 1.) raising Babe to the same elevation as Paul, 2.) excavate and route drainage into the landscaped area, 3.) remove and reshape the concrete plaza to drain water away from Babe, or 4.) installing an additional catch basin.
The work could take place as soon as next month.
