The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Tuesday, Sept. 28.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Suspicious, 8:38 p.m.

Caller reported suspicious person on the 1500 block of America Ave. NW. Ongoing harassment issue.

Harassment, 8:13 p.m.

Male came back to female’s residence after an assault on the 1500 block of America Ave. NW. Male left the area prior to officer’s arrival.

Burglary, 4:08 p.m.

One arrested on the 3100 block of Silver Cir. NW.

Theft, 2:32 p.m.

Officers responded to shoplifters at Walmart. Both were arrested on their respective felony warrants.

Hazards (dangerous), 1:37 p.m.

Homeowner struck gas line on the 2800 block of Bixby Ave. NE. Bemidji Fire Department responded and home was cleared without incident.

Assist, 11:13 a.m.

Officer returned a juvenile runaway to Aitkin County from the 1800 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Officers met and child brought home.

Trespass, 2:19 a.m.

Extra patrol on the 2700 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW. Male arrested for warrant.

Suspicious, 2:15 a.m.

Male trespassing in local cemetery after dark on the 2700 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW. Officer later found possible stolen property the male left behind.

Disorderly Conduct, 1:41 a.m.

Officers assisted friends with a disorderly female outside a residence on the 600 block of 3rd St. NW. Subject was calmed down and agreed to go in for the night. No charges requested.

Weapons Offenses, 12:02 a.m.

Officers responded to the 900 block of 15th St. NW for a possible assault. Unfounded. One cited.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Disorderly Conduct, 6:23 p.m.

Male was acting up again on Rodeo Dr. NW. He was calmed down. Cleared.

Suspicious, 4:49 p.m.

One arrested on the 3100 block of Silver Cir. NW.

Property Damage, 3:56 p.m.

Report of property damage to a house on the 15500 block of Roosevelt Rd. SE. Damage caused by vehicle.

DWI, 12:01 p.m.

Male arrested for fourth-degree DWI and fifth-degree drugs on the 48900 block of Jones Townhall Rd. NW in Solway.

Assist, 8:01 a.m.

Deputies assisted the Drug Task Force on Highway 2 and Jones Townhall Rd. NW in Solway. Several arrests were made.

Weapons Offenses, 6:48 a.m.

Report of gunfire in the area on the 24400 block of Boreal Rd. NW in Pinewood. Source was discovered to be waterfowl hunters legally hunting on state land adjacent to the caller’s property.
