A Red Lake man entered a guilty plea for a serious assault more than two years ago.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office says 42-year-old Chad Sumner, Sr., admitted to assaulting a woman inside her home on June 30, 2019.
The woman, identified as “Jane Doe,” had a cut above her eye and blood on her clothing. Sumner pleaded to assault with substantial bodily injury.
No sentencing date was announced.
